The office is at 46 Bennington St in East Boston. It is the only Salvadoran consulate in New England, serving Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine; Connecticut is not part of its territory.

You can apply for a DUI here, but same-day printing had not been confirmed as of August 2026, and the RNPN expects to extend it to all centers by the end of 2026. The nearest consulate that already prints same-day is Plainview on Long Island. If you only need a renewal or replacement, applying online at dui.sv/exterior costs $55.

In 2021 it held mobile consulates in Worcester, Nantucket and Rhode Island; no newer announcements were found.
